Fabulous location with a view of the ocean and short walk to the beach. We loved our week in Slade Point. Fitness Cartel in North Mackay is one of the best gyms we have ever been in. There are lots of things to do around the area with shopping and restaurants nearby. Not that we went out to eat because the apartment is really well equipped to cook meals at home, we used the air flyer and blender almost every day. The bed is awesome, we slept so well. We appreciated the washer, dryer and BBQ. It felt like a home that the owner cared about with many thoughtful touches throughout. All in all this is a wonderful place to stay and we highly recommend.

We had a wonderful one-week stay at this Airbnb. The place was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with everything we needed for our family stay. The host was friendly, responsive, and very helpful throughout our visit. The location was also convenient and peaceful. We truly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. Thank you for the great hospitality!

We loved our stay in “Barry.” The unit is perfectly located across from the beach and within a very easy walk to the tavern.
Everything has been thought of! From olive oil in the kitchen, books to read, games to play, beach umbrellas and everything in between, you just need to show up and immerse yourself in this fabulous coastal abode.

Beautiful location. Sitting on the balcony overlooking the oceanfront was wonderful. The property had everything a family could need to feel comfortable away from home — extra towels, excellent washing and drying facilities, a backyard to play in, a coffee machine (for tired parents), and books and toys for the children.

We had a lovely stay over the Easter long weekend. It was lovely to fall asleep to the sound of waves just a few metres away. The home is beautiful and appointed with everything you could possibly need, from things like coffee pods, beach games, batteries, delicates bags, aeroguard and so much more - a true 'home away from home' with a lot of thought clearly put into it. Laura was exceptionally responsive and accomodating, and check-in and check-out both easy. We would love to stay again in the future.

We had a very lovely stay. It was very comfortable, clean and cosy. Beautiful beach front views and breeze. Everything you could need and more was at your fingertips. Lots of beach toys, beach trolley, boogie boards, sandcastle stuff, books, games, puzzles and more. Would definitely stay again ❤️❤️❤️

We were in between homes in Mackay whilst moving and Laura was so accomodating, proactive and kind during our conversations. The house is located in a beautiful beach side locale of Mackay that made for a wonderful stay. If we come back to Mackay i would definitelt be staying at Laura's again!

We had the most wonderful two-week stay at Mackay Beachside Home, and it truly felt like a home away from home. The location is unbeatable, just steps from the beach, making morning walks, ocean breezes, and peaceful sunsets part of our everyday routine.
The home itself is beautifully presented, spacious, and thoughtfully set up with everything needed for a comfortable long stay. It was spotlessly clean on arrival, well maintained, and filled with natural light. Every detail made it clear that the hosts genuinely care about their guests’ experience.
After busy days, it was such a joy to come back to a calm, relaxing space where we could unwind and feel completely at ease. The neighborhood was quiet and friendly, adding to the overall sense of rest and relaxation.
We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would absolutely return without hesitation. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful, comfortable beachside getaway in Mackay.

Laura’s accommodation is amazing. Every small detail was thought of, from a kitchen that had every appliance, cookware etc, bathroom with plenty of useful items and more than enough linen. The furniture and beds were so comfortable and air conditioning in all rooms to cap it off. Laura was a pleasure to deal with, I definitely recommend, you won’t be disappointed.
